Lifeblood, Leukaemia Today and Lymphoma Today are magazines that LBC publish every quarter to inform and support those affected by a blood cancer.

The magazines were in need of a refresh and Inspiration Point contributed to the initial content planning and created a fresh design for each of the magazines.

The new design reflects the updated brand look and feel Inspiration Point created for LBC earlier in the year and incorporates tools and techniques such as the use of infographics, iconography, typography, and colour to communicate effectively.

Overall the magazines update the reader on the impact of LBCs work; new initiatives they are working on to fulfil their vision (Vision to Cure, Mission to Care), and support those affected by a blood cancer through sharing stories of people facing similar challenges.

LBC’s magazine needed a refresh. The brief was to create a warm and engaging design that was consistent with the brand and could be used for future issues. Inspiration Point provided wise counsel and worked efficiently and intelligently to deliver a new look magazine that ticked all the boxes.

The use of a simple, clean layout incorporating subtle design elements that reinforced our brand, together with paying attention to the often overlooked details like readability for our older audience, worked well and subsequent issues of the magazine continue to deliver.
